Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ competition announcing the programme, rules, application procedure and dates. The first, selection round is to take place in Hamburg (from April 30 to May 5, 2007), in Worcester (USA) (from June, 3 to June, 10) and Moscow from August 24 to 29, 2007. Second and Third rounds is to be held in the city of Kaliningrad from September, 2 to September 8, 2007. more >

The programme consists of Choral preludes, Chernobyl Organ Symphony, Concerto in romantic style for viola and the strings, the requiem-work of Mikael Tariverdiev. This viola concerto was written on the request of Yuri Bashmet, an outstanding musician of our times and it dedicated to him. more >
