The Mikael Tariverdiev Organ Competition is the first and the only international organ competition held in Russia. From 1999 onwards this international event is held in Kaliningrad once every two years.

The 9th Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition is over more












Avant- garde of Mikael Tariverdiev - It is a monthly programme coming on the wave of Radio Rossia for seven years every second Tuesday on 7.30 pm (Moscow time).

The programme is hosted by Ludmila Osipova.

It opens up the less know pages of Mikael Tariverdiev’s music, tells about music history of Kaliningrad, where the International Organ Cometition takes place once every two years, musicians connected to competition and performing Mikael Tariverdiev music.

President of the Jury in Kaliningrad Professor Martin Jean (the USA) who was select by Trustee Counsel (Professor Arvid Gust can not come because of health problems) announced the results at night after the final, third round.

The VII Mikael Tariverdiev organ competition is over. The winners were awarded in Kaliningrad Cathedral on September, 11. In the competition 48 organists from 26 countries took part. 19 of them who were chosen in selection rounds in Kansas, Hamburg, Moscow and Astana played in Kaliningrad Philharmonic Society Concert Hall.
