08.08.2006 "Quo Vadis?" programme is to be presented at the Grand (Svetlanov’s) Hall of Moscow International House of Music
The programme consists of Choral preludes, Chernobyl Organ Symphony, Concerto in romantic style for viola and the strings, the requiem-work of Mikael Tariverdiev. This viola concerto was written on the request of Yuri Bashmet, an outstanding musician of our times and it dedicated to him.
Yuri Bashmet and his chamber orchestra The Soloists of Moscow, Hiroko Innoue (Japan), Ishtwan Matyas (Hungary), Jean-Pierre Steijvers (the Netherlands) are to perform.
